Supplier Performance Management (SPM)
To secure the same continuous improvement mindset in the relationship with our suppliers, DAF has a Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program in place. SPM is a structured process aiming to jointly improve results and increase collaboration.
The program is based on:
- Clear goal setting
- Transparency of expectations
- Quarterly review meetings
- Senior management involvement at both DAF and the supplier
The SPM program evaluates a supplier’s performance in the areas of product development, operations support, and business alignment with PACCAR objectives.
This program drives the continuous improvement of supplier performance, which is and should be a common goal of DAF and our suppliers. PACCAR annually recognizes its top performing suppliers within the SPM program.
