Employment Conditions

 

If you want to switch to another employer, it makes sense that you want to know more about the employment conditions. Often, the recruiter will ask your expectations already in an earlier stage, in order to offer you a suitable package. Of course, some conditions depend on a specific job or your work experiences.

This will be discussed in an interview with one of our HR Officers. Some of the (secondary) employment conditions that apply to all our employees are:

  • A 36-hour work week;
  • 27 vacation days and the possibility for 13 ADV days (reduction of working hours);
  • 8% holiday allowances;
  • A variable bonus, based on DAF’s yearly results;
  • A good work life balance;
  • An attractive collective health insurance and a retirement plan;
  • Extensive opportunities for your personal development, such as (online) training.

Due to legislation and regulations, there are other (secondary) employment conditions for vacancies for our location in Westerlo (BE) or other (European) locations. The general terms of employment for candidates who apply at DAF Westerlo are:

  • 20 vacation days and the possibility for 7 ADV days (reduction of working hours);
  • A variable bonus, based on DAF’s yearly results;
  • An end of the year bonus;
  • Meal vouchers, which can be spent in the company restaurant;
  • Seniority premium;
