Job description

For our Project Management Team of 10 people, we are looking for an intern who will develop a system where project managers and engineers can extract/visualize information on timing, dependencies and relations between projects. This to improve for example:

  • Impact analysis of changes request for a project and collateral damage to other depending projects;
  • Visibility on different architectures and used control systems per projects to e.g. improve resource management and planning activities;
  • Visibility and definition of baselines, development branches and merge plans .

Your main responsibilities will include: 
  • Conducting interviews with project managers, lead engineers and other internal stakeholders to formalize and complete user stories;
  • Together with stakeholders, prioritize user stories and develop plan for which user stories can be implemented within scope of internship; 
  • Benchmark commercially available tools to propose/develop a modern, easy to use, user interface;
  • Development of database structure capturing required information/data requested in user stories; 
  • Development of application using sample database data as Proof Of Concept;
  • Documenting application and recommendation for follow-up internship if required to complete user stories.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's study in Information and Communication Technology;
  • Experience/Affinity with database application and user interfaces;
  • Experience developing applications using Visual Studio;
  • Strong communication skills in English and Dutch are required;
  • Analytical skills and the ability to abstract / conceptualize.

Project Management team, part of Embedded Engineering Department is responsible for managing Embedded Architecture, Hardware and Software deliverables supporting vehicle and powertrain projects.
