Dear technology enthusiasts,
We welcome you on the 8th of June for this year's PACCAR Connect Hackathon - a whole day of coding, collaboration and creativity on the site of DAF Eindhoven! Whether you are a coding wizard or just starting in the technological world, we offer students the possibility to utilize their innovative and strategic thinking. Become a part of this by implementing your skills into the real world and develop a technological solution with our data streams applicable to industry problems.
PACCAR Connect offers digital solutions complementary to DAF vehicles. During the Hackathon, we ask you to think about how we can improve the lives of DAF truck drivers. We will provide you with background information, mentorship and data. To employ your creativity, we will provide you with enough food and drinks during the day. For you to win, you will need to present a demo of how your idea would work in reality. This may be an application, a website, an API, or any other technological solution you can think of. Just convince our panel of experts that it can be practically applied and bring results.

Get your ideas out there! Work on a tangible solution with real life data and purpose. The most innovative solution created gets the chance to be actually applied by DAF in the trucking industry. Not only can your ideas have a real application for all DAF drivers, but you also might get the chance to work on them as part of the DAF team.
Be recognized for your skills! Our jury will hear every pitch and evaluate which one has the most actionable ideas for PACCAR Connect. The three best teams will get a recognition prize for their innovation and their idea's business potential. The team with the best idea will win great prices!

- Collaboration: Teams of 2-4 students (where at least one member experience in working with APIs/coding/programming)
- Registration deadline: 15th of May or until the available slots have been filled
- Team selection date: 19th of May

- Food & drinks: snacks, drinks, lunch and dinner will be provided during the event (including vegetarian options)
