Job description

As a Bachelor Intern – Smart Change Automation for Mainframe Finance, you will be part of the Mainframe Finance team and focus on automating the creation of change documentation for mainframe applications.

  • Analyze the current change and documentation process within Mainframe Finance;
  • Investigate how test automation tooling (such as Tosca) can support automated documentation;
  • Design a concept for an automated change document based on test results and change data;
  • Define required inputs, outputs and quality criteria for the change documentation;
  • Create a prototype or proof of concept for automated change documentation;
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for implementation.

Your profile

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor study in IT, Business IT, Information Management or a similar field;
  • You are interested in automation, testing and process improvement;
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy structuring information;
  • You work accurately and independently;
  • You have good communication skills in English.

Department

The Mainframe Finance team is part of the IT organization of DAF Trucks and supports financially critical processes such as accounting, reporting and financial controls. The team works on mainframe applications that require high reliability, traceability and documentation. To improve quality and efficiency, the department continuously looks for ways to automate and standardize processes. The goal of the department is to deliver stable, well-documented and compliant financial IT solutions.
