After finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics, Anneloes became interested in the psychology behind marketing. She wanted to understand why some marketing activities work well while others do not. This question has always fascinated her. That is why she decided to study for a Master’s degree in Human Decision Science.
In her current role at the Global Connected Services department, Anneloes is responsible for creating, improving, and testing marketing materials. There are different groups of customers, each with their own needs and customer journeys. Her job is to make sure that the PACCAR Connect service is present at every customer touchpoint during their journey with relevant marketing materials. This helps to connect with (potential) customers and support them in the best way possible.
The service offered is PACCAR Connect. PACCAR Connect has three main parts: Portal, Mobile, and Data Services. It all starts with data collected from the truck. Customers can see, for example, where the truck is, when maintenance is needed, and how the systems are working. Each service meets different customer needs, so it is important to listen carefully to what the customers want.
To make her marketing activities more effective, Anneloes constantly analyzes data. She looks at why one email campaign performs well and another does not. With these insights, she can better respond to customer needs next time. “In the future, I hope we can use these insights to create real campaigns that support our customers even better in their process,” says Anneloes.
What she likes most about DAF is the team spirit. It is a motivated and involved team that celebrates every success – even the small ones. It is great to be able to contribute to such a large and wonderful company.
Another fun event organized is the annual PACCAR Connect Hackathon. During this hackathon, students work with our data for a whole month to develop new, fresh ideas that benefit our customers.
