Job description

As an Bachelor Intern – AI Governance for Mainframe Finance, you will be part of the Mainframe Finance team and responsible for defining how AI can be used in a controlled and compliant way within the mainframe environment.

  • Analyze current AI usage within the mainframe environment (As‑Is situation);
  • Identify financial, operational and compliance risks related to AI usage;
  • Define a governance and control framework for AI within Mainframe Finance;
  • Document roles, responsibilities and decision structures;
  • Translate governance principles into practical and auditable documentation;
  • Validate findings and proposals with IT, Finance and Compliance stakeholders.

Your profile

  • You are enrolled in an Bachelor study in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Information Management or a similar field;
  • You have an interest in AI, governance, risk management and compliance;
  • You are able to analyze processes and translate them into clear documentation;
  • You work accurately and structured;
  • You have good communication skills in English.

Department

The Mainframe Finance department is part of the IT organization of DAF Trucks and supports financially critical business processes. The department is responsible for maintaining and governing mainframe applications used for finance, reporting and control purposes. The team consists of functional administrators, developers and analysts who work closely together with Finance and Compliance stakeholders. The goal of the department is to ensure reliable, compliant and future‑proof financial IT solutions.
