Berco receives prestigious SPM master Award

PACCAR annually recognizes its top performing suppliers in its Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program. The SPM program evaluates a supplier’s performance in the areas of product development, operations support and business alignment with PACCAR objectives. Recently Berco received the prestigious SPM master Award.

Berco from Schijndel develops and assembles interior parts for DAF such as beds, middle sections, night locks and cupholders. The products are delivered several times a day in sequence to the cab factory Westerlo. Due to the enormous success of DAF, more than 100 Berco employees now work daily with great dedication to the quality products of DAF. The collaboration is one of partnership and win-win for both. This professional and pleasant approach has already brought Berco a lot.

With the introduction of the CMP tool, continuous improvement at Berco and its suppliers has become daily practice. With great pride we also supply DAF Brazil from a local branch and DAF has opened the door for us at Peterbilt. We supply, from an export situation, the integrated ladder system for the upper bed. Beautiful examples of partnership in which we believe DAF itself is the MASTER. Very special!

The presentation of the SPM Master Award to Berco and the beautiful words that have been spoken make us very proud. Together we would like to build an even better future with a lot of meaningful local employment.
