Job description
As a Software Engineering Intern, you are part of the development team and responsible for the further development and enhancement of our Lead Management module. You will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into robust, modern technical solutions.
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new features within the existing Lead Management module in our Front end Leasing application.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders (such as Sales Operations) and senior developers to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Your main goals will be to optimise the current lead routing workflow, improve data processing efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.
- You will conduct code reviews, perform rigorous testing, and ensure the delivery of clean, maintainable code.
- You will be responsible for documenting new functionalities and technical specifications for future reference.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO student who is:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related IT discipline.
- Experience: Academic or practical internship experience in software development and the application lifecycle.
- Other experience: Proven experience with, C#, .NET, SQL] and a solid understanding of software design principles.
- Language skills: Strong communication skills in English (and Dutch, if applicable) are required.
- Competencies: An analytical problem-solver who is proactive, capable of working independently on complex tasks, and possesses strong stakeholder management skills.
Department
The Software Development department is an integral part of the broader IT organisation within PACCAR Financial Europe. We are responsible for developing, maintaining, and innovating the internal applications that drive our daily operations. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team consisting of 10 dedicated IT professionals. The current goal of our department is to future-proof our software architecture by transitioning legacy desktop systems to modern, efficient web frameworks.
