Job description
As an Intern, you will be part of the testing team and will be responsible for analyzing and improving the current Impact Analysis and Test Approach process as part of the software development lifecycle. You will work on practical and scalable solutions that make the workflow more efficient, consistent, and user friendly for developers.
Main Tasks and Objectives:
- Analyze the current Impact Analysis and Test Approach process and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with engineers, testers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and requirements.
- Research best practices and opportunities for process improvements and (partial) automation.
- Develop proposals for improvements to workflows, templates, and tooling.
- Create prototypes or concepts for new or enhanced tools.
- Validate your proposed solutions with users and incorporate their feedback into a final recommendation.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO student who is pursuing a degree in fields such as: ICT, Business IT, Industrial Engineering, Service Design, Management.
Furthermore:
- You are passionate about quality and continuous process improvement.
- You have good communication skills and can collaborate effectively within a team, while also being able to work independently.
- You are motivated to learn and apply new technologies and concepts in a practical setting.
- You have a proactive and creative mindset, capable of coming up with innovative solutions and prototypes.
The number of internship days is negotiable.
Department
The Diagnostics department is part of the After Sales organization within Marketing & Sales. This department is responsible for the development, production and maintenance of the diagnostic equipment (hard- and software) for DAF Trucks and PACCAR Engines workshops and factories worldwide.
