Job description

We are looking for an intern who will assist, in close collaboration with the domain architect and the Director Architecture, with creating a common KM framework that supports collaboration across diverse teams and departments.

Objectives:

  • Understand the current state of Knowledge Management (KM)
  • Define KM objectives aligned with the transformation
  • Define a KM framework suitable for the Organization
  • Define processes and select tools
  • Care for cultural and change aspects

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO / WO student who is pursuing a degree in business and/or information sciences. Awareness and understanding of knowledge management principles, information systems, and organizational learning, behavior and innovation are preferred. The number of internship days is negotiable. Fluent communication in the English language is required.

Department

PACCAR Global Connected Services develops and markets services that use truck data to advise the customer to enhance cost effective use of trucks. All knowledge and expertise in this field is structured within one global organization, across the entire PACCAR organization, indicating the strategic importance of global development of connected services for PACCAR. This also leads to consistency with regard to the customer experience across the DAF, Kenworth or Peterbilt brands.

Global Connected Services comprises various departments, such as Marketing & Sales, Business Development, Products and Services Portfolio Management, Delivery, Architecture and Customer Support. These departments consist of multiple teams; some product centered, some flexible.

In the light of transforming to a more common way of working, the Architecture department holds an initiative to restructure knowledge management suitably.
