Job description
For our HIL Department, we are looking for an intern who will assist with various tasks.
As an intern, you will be responsible for the implementation of dSPACE VEOS
This is a virtual platform by dSPACE that enables software-in-the-loop (SiL) and virtual hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing. It simulates ECU behavior and system communication without the need for physical hardware.
Next to that the intern will be assisting in upgrading and automate tasks for the existing blue boards to be more efficient in its use. setup of a blueboard. A Blueboard is a dedicated Proto vehicle setup used for diagnostic checks, end-of-line tests, and similar purposes.
Your profile
Bachelor level is required Most preferable Automotive Systems Knowledge (HAN) and/or Electrical (Fontys Ehv)
On below competences/skillset, knowledge is required
- Basic Scripting (Python, C, C++)
- Familiarity with Simulink Modeling Environment
- General knowledge of HIL and SIL testing concepts
- General knowledge of CAN and LIN networks
- Hands-on wiring/hardware experience. (Soldering, wiring, Relays, etc)
Department
The HIL Engineering department is part of the PACCAR Electronics Verification team and is located in Eindhoven. The department is responsible for the utilization of the Hardware in the Loop (HIL) laboratory supporting Automotive Software Test Engineers to perform requirement based testing. The HIL lab is currently utilized with dSPACE Full and Mid Size HIL system with which we simulate vehicle behavior.
