To maximize the benefits of the Retail Financing systems landscape for our organization, we have planned various improvements as part of a ‘Building on the Foundation’-project. Our main objectives are to reduce lead and response times, increase efficiency, and ensure compliance.
Within this project it is planned to extend the Retail Financing DataWarehouse with additional system sources, to further improve regulatory reporting for some European countries and to develop required business reports/dashboards.
Therefore we are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, proactive, results-driven, and customer-oriented Data Engineer / Functional Application Manager for our DataWarehouse and reporting environment
Your main tasks are:
- Discuss with the BI developers the data requirements regarding information reporting and dashboards;
- Extend and maintain the ETL processes to retrieve data from several sources using Wherescape 3D and RED;
- Data modelling of the business entities in the Data Vault and Data Mart using Wherescape 3D and RED;
- Validate and maintain the data consistency process in the Data Warehouse;
- Analyze and solve problems regarding the ETL processes and data modelling;
- Actively participate in the DWH Scrum Team and support an Agile Way of Working
Jouw profiel
For this challenging position, we would like to get in touch with candidates with a completed IT-technical education at bachelor or masters level;
Do you have:
- A passion for information and strong affinity with IT applications and business processes;
- Ability to understand, describe and analyse international business processes;
- Experience in a financial (services) working environment (preferably);
- Working experience with MS SQL Server (TSQL) and preferably Oracle;
- Knowledge of Data Vault and dimensional modelling;
- Knowledge of Wherescape 3D and Red (preferably);
- Experience with and are a supporter of the Agile Scrum Way of Working;
You are a team-player, but at the same time a self-starter who has a drive to support your users with the best possible information. You master the English language (and preferably also Dutch) in word and writing.
Afdeling
PACCAR Financial Europe (PFE) provides financial services to DAF dealers and end customers to support the sales of DAF trucks. PFE is part of the worldwide PACCAR Financial organization, has its headquarters in Eindhoven at the DAF premises and is active in a large number of European countries with own sales offices and used trucks centers. The PFE Information Technology department is responsible for the development, configuration, testing and deployment of innovative IT-solutions, management of these systems during their lifecycle and support of the users of these systems. PFE-IT consists of appr. 30 fte. of which 20 internal and works according the agile framework. Most of the systems are subject to SOx-regulations.
PFE contains 4 lines of business: WholeSale Financing to DAF-dealers, Retail Financing to End Customers, Short Term Leasing and Asset Management & Used Trucks Remarketing. The Retail Financing systems landscape has been renewed recently and a new state-of-the-art systems landscape for Asset Mgt. & Used Trucks Remarketing is currently under development as part of a large IT-project. Other projects are already planned.
