As a Business Intelligence Intern, you are part of the PACCAR Parts Europe BI team and responsible for developing a structured competitor overview across all major Truck OEMs. You help transform open‑source market data into clear insights that support strategic decision‑making.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, validating and structuring OEM (after)market data.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyzing trends in OEM aftersales strategies, services and network development.
- Summarizing key findings into clear insights and concise reports, developing a standardized competitor overview.
Jouw profiel
Education: Bachelor degree in fields such as Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
(Work or Internship) experience: Not required, though experience with market research, data analysis or business intelligence is a pré.
Other experience: Experience with MS Office tools (e.g., Excel & PowerPoint). Experience with desk research is a pré.
Language skills: Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is an advantage.
Competencies: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive attitude, strong collaboration & communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear insights.

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is a division of PACCAR Inc., the parent company of DAF Trucks, and specializes in the distribution of parts and accessories. The department Market Intelligence & Business Development is responsible for performing market research and competitor analysis to identify new market and business opportunities for PACCAR Parts Europe.
The department consists of a small team of young, motivated, innovative and open professionals, who create and implement new business tools for our dealer network as well as develop existing and new parts sales channels. The overall goal is to have an in-depth understanding of the parts- and transport market.
