As an intern in the Costing & Analysis group, you will play a vital role in enhancing the performance of our dealer network across Europe & UK. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our Repair and Maintenance (R&M) contracts by providing tools that allow for better monitoring and assessment of dealer performance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and analyzing performance data from various dealers providing R&M contracts.
- Developing metrics to assess dealer performance over time.
- Identifying discrepancies in performance data and developing alerts for these inconsistencies.
- Collaborating with team members to create comprehensive reporting tools that enhance visibility into dealer performance.
- Supporting the team in utilizing data insights to drive improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Presenting your findings and recommendations to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Jouw profiel
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bachelor or Master student pursuing a degree in fields such as Data Analytics, Business Economics, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Education: -Preferably- enrolled in an bachelor or master programs related to Data Analytics, Business Economics, or a similar field.
- Experience: Experience in solving data-related problems, including data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation software, such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Programming skills in Python or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization techniques to present insights clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and reporting methodologies.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
Afdeling
The Costing & Analysis group is part of the Aftersales department within the Marketing and Sales organization at DAF Trucks. The department comprises a dedicated team of 15 professionals, including cost engineers, data analysts, data scientists and data engineers. The mission of Costing & Analysis is to collaboratively translate business needs into actionable data insights through proactive data analysis, reporting, and modeling. This supports data-driven decision-making for our customers, dealers, and the DAF business. The group aims to enhance service quality and operational efficiency for dealers providing Repair and Maintenance (R&M) contracts, thereby maximizing vehicle uptime and optimizing overall service performance.
