Functiebeschrijving

Drive and support the sales development in charging infrastructure and future electrification after-market products as part of the PACCAR Power Solutions team. This role is based in Eindhoven and focuses on countries without a dedicated Sales & Consultancy specialist for PACCAR Power Solutions (mainly in Europe). At this moment the team consists of three other Sales & Consultancy specialists with the focus on the Benelux, France and Germany.

In this innovative, fast-paced emerging field, you are expected to be the commercial and technical expert. Take the consultant role to gain a dominant market share of electric vehicle chargers at fleet customers, the PACCAR / DAF Dealer network, and beyond.
Success in the role requires delivering short and midterm sales results, utilizing CRM system, existing and future subsidy programs, and constantly providing feedback to your peers and manager.

You are expected to initiate and maintain project opportunities through stakeholder collaboration, communication, and management of the sales funnel across the European markets. Working together with the European PACCAR Power Solutions Sales Manager, the E-Mobility Truck Sales Teams and the local country teams to identify and prioritize of current and upcoming projects.

Combining your up-to-date knowledge of BEV-Charging systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Energy Management Systems, electric infrastructure, cutting-edge market trends, transport customer investment plans and market needs in chargers and electrification with the internal organization to guide company developments. Regular cooperation with e-truck and parts fleet sales, product marketing, local suppliers, dealers is essential.

The role has meaningful growth opportunities for candidates. The position reports to the European PACCAR Power Solutions Sales Manager at PACCAR Parts Europe.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales initiatives in commercial truck chargers, charging solutions and related electrification after-market products in European countries without a dedicated PACCAR Power Solutions Sales & Consultancy specialist
  • Achieving short term and midterm sales goals and identify opportunities
  • Support PACCAR Power Solutions Sales Manager to accelerate sales in vehicle charger and related electrification after-market products
  • Coordinate and cooperate with truck sales electric truck quotation process to identify leads
  • Initiate dealer and customer communications and relevant commercial training programs
  • Lead person for electrification market knowledge and feedback to relevant DAF/PACCAR teams to develop electrification after sales opportunities

Jouw profiel

For this position we are looking for an ambitious professional to help PACCAR Parts transition into the evolving electrification space.

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in business or relevant field with 5 years' experience
  • Track record in commercial vehicle after-market business, B2B, B2C or related technology
  • You must have:
    • A true, intrinsic drive to accelerate the energy transition, and more specific, the electric transport transition
    • A keen interest in commercial electric vehicles and/or technology is
  • You preferably have:
    • An automotive electrification related background
    • Sales development track record in emergent product/services
    • Technical knowledge of and/or experience with electrical infrastructural projects
  • Good communication skills in English, additional languages are desirable
  • Willingness to travel to dealers and customers in Europe

Afdeling

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) reports to the PACCAR Parts Division in North America. PPE works closely with DAF Trucks in Europe in order to grow the sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one-stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts sells DAF branded parts for DAF truck applications, PACCAR branded parts for PACCAR engine applications and TRP and vendor branded parts for applications on different brands of trucks, trailers and workshop items. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Centers (PDC) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest, Ponta Grossa and Panama.
