The PACCAR Power Solutions department is a new department that will be dedicated to develop, implement and sell parts, software and services enabling the transition from diesel trucks to zero emission trucks for customers and dealers from an infrastructure perspective like chargers, microgrids, charging software solutions and transition consultancy. The department consists of a multifunctional team with Purchasing, System Integration, Products & Solutions, Sales and After Sales.

As Head of PACCAR Power Solutions you lead the development and growth of the zero emission infrastructure business for PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE). In this highly innovative, fast-paced emerging field, you are expected to be the leader and expert in current and upcoming trends.

Main tasks:

  • Manage and grow a multidisciplinary team of purchasing, system integration, products & solutions, sales and after sales. The manager of the Product & Solution Development department has a direct reporting line to you, the other team members from the other departments have a dotted reporting line to you.
  • You and your team will be working shoulder to shoulder with the electrification task force on the DAF Trucks sales side. You take the lead in translating these trends into creating and expending the product, software and services portfolio
  • Select and manage the right partners necessary to execute the development of the PACCAR Parts electrification business
  • Grow and develop your department and lead the sales results with the goal to gain a dominant market share of electric vehicle chargers, charging solutions and related products and services at truck fleets, our dealership network, and beyond
The role has significant growth opportunities for candidates. You report to the Director of Marketing & Business  PACCAR Parts Europe.

Jouw profiel

  • Master’s degree (or similar experience and thinking level) in business or related field experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Able to build commercial relationships, provide solutions and close deals requires, with a strong customer orientation
  • Experience in truck or transport related fields, as well as an automotive electrification related background
  • Track record in commercial vehicle after-market business, B2B or related technology
  • Great communication skills, ability to present well and convey complexity simply
  • Proven sales development track record in emergent product/services
  • Result driven self-starter with tactical and operational ability
  • Fluent proficiency in English, additional languages (such as German and French) strongly preferred

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) and DAF Trucks N.V. are part of PACCAR Inc. PPE works closely with DAF Trucks in Europe in order to grow sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, 120+ TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one-stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts develops digital services like eCommerce and PPFS, to increase sales of DAF parts for DAF truck applications, PACCAR parts for PACCAR engine applications and TRP and vendor branded parts for applications on multiple brands of trucks, trailers and workshop items. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distribution Centers (PDC) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest, Ponta Grossa and Panama.
