As a CO2 Strategy Lead you are monitoring and steering the Legislative Landscape and making sure DAF’s program is fit for the future. In this role you have influence in optimizing our strategy, both from a technical and financial perspective – ultimately leading to the most optimal way in achieving net zero emissions.
In addition, you will:
- Optimize timing, costs and CO2 impact of our current DAF program to meet legislative needs;
- Participate in ACEA - European Automobile Manufacturers' Association as DAF representative and to monitor future legislative changes;
- Translate the legislative changes in combination with market developments and technical roadmaps in to a long term vision for CO2.
In the role of CO2 Strategy Lead you’ll report to the Engineering Supervisor Vehicle Properties.
Jouw profiel
As a CO2 Strategy Lead you are a team player with a professional attitude. As no other you have the ability to coordinate and present on different (management) levels.
In addition you bring:
- A Master degree in a Technical direction and or Financial direction;
- 5+ years relevant experience, preferably in the automotive field;
- Proactive, creative, analytical and strong communicative skills;
- Preferably experience with (technical) discussions on European Level;
- Preferably broad CO2 and or VECTO knowledge;
- Strong market insights and capabilities to transfer this to program impact;
- Strong English communication, both spoken and written;
- Additionally Dutch language has a preference.

Afdeling
The Vehicle Properties department is part of the Vehicle Development organization. They support PACCAR projects by defining the future project content and leading the development of high level vehicle concepts.
The goal of the department is to stay on par with market developments, legislative changes and technology trends and optimize DAF’s strategy towards these needs.
