Job description
As a Transport Support Agent your main task will be arranging & managing compliance / customs topics. For this task it is important to:
- Stay up to date with trade compliance rules
- Connect with various departments within DAF
- Connect with external consultants
- Support the team with customs / compliance issues
- Support the DAF customs broker with information requests
- Generate all relevant documents in compliance with legal (PACCAR) standards
- Monitor relevant logistical parameters and data
- Handle Transport complaints/claims
- Update Transport Quality Procedures
- Handle Excise duty shipment documentation
- Transport Administration and teams sharepoint
- Systems / application support
Your profile
You have preferably vocational education in Logistics (MBO-4/HBO) and experience with basic export processes, and also you bring at least 5 years of work experience.
- Basic Transport Knowledge (all mobilities)
- The ability to build strong relations with both internal and external parties
- Experience and affinity with IT applications, DAF Mainframe, Spot-on, tracking applications, Customs systems etc.
- Experience with MS Office
- You are accurate and have affinity with legislations and regulations, and enjoy digging into them
- Basic communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Preferrable knowledge of Customs / export issues
- Working in day shift
