As a Technical Application Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. Your primary focus will be the Repair & Maintenance Information (RMI) application, supporting its operation, enhancement, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, service providers, and other cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, manage incidents and changes, implement new functionalities, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
In this role you will monitor application health, coordinate releases, support problem resolution, and contribute to the application roadmap. Through proactive management and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help drive the reliability, scalability, and overall success of the RMI platform and related projects.
The support will consist of the following tasks:
- Application Management: monitor and manage the performance of various IT applications.
- Application Implementation: implementation of changes, updates and enhancements, including coordination with development teams.
- Technical Support: provide direct technical support for end-users, troubleshoot application-related functional or performance issues.
- Application Documentation: maintain and regularly update system documentation.
- Application Security: ensure the security and compliance of the managed applications.
- Stakeholder Management: collaborate with various stakeholders such as business users, IT colleagues, third party vendors and management.
- Lifecycle Management: overseeing and managing the entire lifespan of the managed applications, from its inception to retirement, guaranteeing compliance to business requirements and ensuring technical support capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and optimization of the application management lifecycle.
- Standby Shift Rotation: participate in the team standby shift rotation planning to support the business clients outside of office hours for 24/7 applications.
Jouw profiel
You are an enthusiastic professional Technical Application Manager with a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT or similar.
In addition you bring:
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts.
- Experience with managing business critical applications.
- Proficiency with relevant technologies (Cloud and on premise) such as Windows server, IIS, Firewall, Azure.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both spoken and written,
- A team player personality and the ability to bring extra energy to the team
