Functiebeschrijving
- Manage emissions compliance deliverables within active Powertrain PCP projects by participating in program management meetings and communicating requirements within Emissions Compliance;
- Collaborate with the Global Regulatory Engineering team to monitor emerging regulatory changes to identify early process impacts;
- Keep and maintain an inventory of compliance related business processes to ensure they are updated when appropriate and reflect best practices;
- Participate in PCP process development activities and updates for both DAF and Global processes;
- Lead stakeholder meetings to gather input from process users and push the process creation and/or updates to completion;
- Collaborate with Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF division quality & reliability teams to audit compliance related processes;
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams within the global organization;
- Provide regular status updates to the broader compliance team.
Jouw profiel
- Technical education on master level with a specialization in mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering;
- At least 10 years of engineering, certification/homologation, or compliance experience in the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of relevant environmental regulations (e.g., EPA and CARB regulations).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communicative and persuasive skills;
- Proficient in spoken and written English; Dutch proficiency is a bonus.

The Emissions Process Compliance team consists of appr. 3 North American Emissions Compliance engineering professionals and reports to the Emissions Compliance Operations area of the organization.
The department works to promote a culture of compliance to ensure that PACCAR exercises due diligence with regard to product emissions certification and compliance.
