The Global Service Manager is responsible for all aftersales related issues, taking appropriate decisions to ensure customer satisfaction regarding DAF Component systems (Engines, Cab-less chassis and Cabs) as used by Leading Bus, Coach and Specialty trucks manufacturers globally.
- Organize and lead after-sales meetings with OEM accounts of DAF Components
- Report on and monitor the progress of after-sales related processes
- In cooperation with the Field Action Coordinator, prepare and communicate OEM-specific PSFA information
- Technically and financially assess goodwill claims within budget
- Investigate and analyze technical problems in the field
- Support OEMs in after-sales matters for fleets/service projects worldwide
- As Network Development Manager, coordinating specific network development in the area of coaches & buses in collaboration with OEMs and individual DAF Sales Units
- Act as Training Coordinator
- Structurally report OEM-specific ITS breakdown information
- As a permanent team member of the Service Managers Meeting, support the overall policy regarding Service and After Sales, ensuring that the DAF Component Sales Service policy is well managed
Jouw profiel
- You have a Bachelor or Master Degree with a preferred discipline in Automotive engineering
- You are an experienced professional with multiple years of experience within a Aftersales and/or Service department
- You have experience in dealing with customers and are able to translate their concerns into actions until closure
- You have knowledge of DAF products also from a technical point of view
- You have knowledge of DAF Marketing and Sales processes and are familiar with repair info, warranty processes and tooling as used within DAF
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential
- You must be computer literate and you possess the ability to swiftly familiarize yourself with our systems
- You are able to work within an international team and are willing to travel frequently to meet with stakeholders
- You are able to multitask
- Language skills: Fluent English (required) plus preferable Dutch.
