As a Functional Application Manager, you are responsible for:
- supporting users in resolving operational issues and answering application-related questions
- the configuration of applications so that all requirements and the needs of the users are met
- establishing procedures for authorizations of all internal and external users of the entire system. Also, ensuring compliance with these procedures and generating ideas to improve implemented processes.
- ensuring the development of improving of or new functionalities for the dealer systems for both PACCAR Parts Europe and After Sales which are being used throughout the international dealer network
- the translation of requirements to IT analysts or developers by defining detailed business requirements
- functional (end-to-end) testing and (guiding) user acceptance tests
- the documentation of all changes to the application landscape, including all interfaces to and from surrounding central systems, preferably through a functional design
- the Functional Application Manager is involved and in some situations responsible for the entire process from design to implementation, which is carried out using the SCRUM methodology

Afdeling
PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is responsible for growing spare parts sales to customers in all DAF markets worldwide, exclusively through the DAF and TRP branded dealer network; DAF, PACCAR and TRP. PPE uses 5 state-of-the-art distribution centers (PDCs) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and Massbach and delivers unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions.
The System Support department is responsible for support, development, access management and uptime of more than 50 PPE and DAF applications. We support both our internal- and external applications used by DAF dealers and Customers. Internal applications include European Parts System (EPS), Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI), CRM Support Center and DDPD. External applications include DAF RMI, DAF Webshop, Global Portal, Sales Allowance and InfoHub.
The team consists of 25+ professionals that either work as a Functional Application Manager or Dealer System Helpdesk agent. Most of the team members are also part of cross-functional (agile) development teams. Next to application enhancement and management, the team is responsible for solving over 30.000 dealer and customer requests per year.
We are a fun and motivated team with a drive for continues improvement and are currently chasing PPS team phase 4.
The System Support department is part of the Systems & Support department, which is responsible to support PACCAR Parts Europe’s sales growth strategy by providing executive guidance and leadership regarding the implementation, maintenance and support of strategic high-impact projects with a strong IT component.
