As an engineer datawarehouse & reporting your main tasks are:
- Analyse reporting requirements;
- Extend and maintain the ETL processes to retrieve data from several sources using Wherescape 3D and RED;
- Model data of the business entities in the Data Vault and Data Mart using Wherescape 3D and RED;
- Validate and maintain the data consistency process in the Data Warehouse;
- Create PowerBI reports & datasets;
- Analyze and solve problems regarding the ETL processes, data modelling & reporting;
- Actively participate in the DWH Scrum Team and support an Agile Way of Working.
Jouw profiel
For this challenging position, we would like to get in touch with candidates with a completed IT-technical education at bachelor or masters level;
Do you have:
- A passion for information and strong affinity with IT applications and business processes;
- Ability to understand, describe and analyse international business processes;
- Experience in a financial (services) working environment (preferably);
- Working experience with MS SQL Server (TSQL) and preferably Oracle;
- Knowledge of Data Vault and dimensional modelling;
- Knowledge of Wherescape 3D and Red (preferably);
- Experience with PowerBI or other reporting tools
- Experience with and are a supporter of the Agile Scrum Way of Working;
- You are a team-player and a self-starter who has a drive to support users with the best possible information. You master the English language (and preferably also Dutch) in word and writing.
Afdeling
PACCAR Financial Europe (PFE) provides financial services to DAF dealers and end customers to support the sales of DAF trucks. PFE is part of the worldwide PACCAR Financial organization, has its headquarters in Eindhoven at the DAF premises and is active in a large number of European countries with own sales offices and used trucks centers.
The PFE Information Technology department is responsible for the development, configuration, testing and deployment of innovative IT-solutions, management of these systems during their lifecycle and support of the users of these systems. PFE-IT consists of appr. 25 fte. and works according the agile framework. Most of the systems are subject to SOx-regulations.
PFE contains 4 lines of business: WholeSale Financing to DAF-dealers, Retail Financing to End Customers, Short Term Leasing/Rentals and Asset Management & Used Trucks Remarketing. The Retail Financing systems landscape has been renewed, a new state-of-the-art systems landscape for Asset Mgt. & Used Trucks Remarketing is in progress and WholeSale Financing replacement has just been started.
As Paccar Financial is a financial institution with bank licences in some countries in Europe, there is a strong requirement for reliable and consistent reporting. Within the PFE Systems landscape the PFE DataWarehouse is the one source of truth for reporting. The data is processed through a staging area and a data vault into different data marts, which are the basis for PowerBI reports and data files.
