The Customer Service Agent is responsible for the successful resolution of the dealers problem, taking appropriate decisions to ensure customer satisfaction regarding order systems, delivery processes and procedures and searches for optimal solutions through close cooperation with other departments within DAF. Customer focus is paramount, as the agent is the voice of the customer in the organization.

  • You act as the first line contact in respect to parts queries and requests for information from DAF Dealers
  • You are responsible for managing dealer exceptions to a successful conclusion
  • You generate improvement ideas and help implement them
  • Together with other PACCAR Parts Departments - particularly Materials, Warehouse (PDC), Forwarders and Parts Sales/Marketing you promptly action and resolve Dealer and Customer requests
  • You forecast availability and expedite backorders
  • You arrange special deliveries to Dealers in respect to urgent requests
  • You resolve shipment, returns and invoice queries
  • You respond to Dealer questions in a timely manner via CRM
The Customer Service agent will report to the Customer Services Manager in Eindhoven.

Jouw profiel

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree with a preferred discipline in Customer Service, Communication, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • You have an excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential
  • You must be computer literate and you possess the ability to swiftly familiarize yourself with our logistics system and CRM
  • You are able to work within an international team and you are able to multitask
  • Experience in a customer service type position is desirable, but an understanding of the need for outstanding customer service is an essential requirement
  • Six Sigma experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of trucks and truck parts is an advantage 
  • Language skills (fluent): English (required) plus at least 2 of either Czech / Slovak / French/ Polish.

Afdeling

PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is responsible for growing spare parts sales to customers in all DAF markets worldwide, exclusively through the DAF and TRP branded dealer network; DAF, PACCAR and TRP. PPE uses 5 state-of-the-art distribution centers (PDCs) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and Massbach and delivers unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions.

The Customer Service department takes care of incoming quotation requests, orders, return requests and handles complaints within PACCAR Parts Logistics Eindhoven. The department is the first contact for own country organizations, importers and dealers worldwide and works closely with, among others, Stock Control & Supply, PACCAR Parts PDCs, ITS, and Marketing & Sales.
