As Agile Coach you serve the organization in several ways, including:

• Leading, training, and coaching teams, management, employees, stakeholders and external parties in agile Leadership and in scrum adoption;
• Planning and advising scrum implementations within the organization; 
• Promote the methodology and mindsets. Be a role model to employees, stakeholders and managers. Passionate and able to explain on different levels;
• Build and maintain a professional network of stakeholders;
• Remove barriers between stakeholders and Product Teams;
• Proactive communication on relevant KPI’s and results showing the progress of the transformation.

• Ensure timely delivery of committed items on the backlog; 
• Ensures the team follows the technical way of working; 
• Build the team and coach team members to act as a team and to become high performing. 
• Drive continuous improvement, i.e. challenges the team towards greater efficiency
• Coach on agile practices and behaviour for everybody in and around the team. 
• Chair and drive the rituals, ensure its disciplined execution, helping the team to understand why this is important. 
• Provide analyses of current team rituals, evaluates bottlenecks and advice regarding improvements in team rituals
• Act as a servant leader and escalation level for the team. Signal and remove impediments to ensure timely delivery from the Product Team;
• Create transparency and alignment on team speed, quality of deliverables and happiness;
• Manage suppliers and outsourcing execution (rituals);
• Create focus in the team by shielding them from external interferences;
• Ensure alignment with other Product Teams  on dependencies and risks and that these are managed by the team;
• Ensure the pre-conditions are in place to start a work item (Definition of Ready).
