  • Ball & Spring –uses spring force to push a ball bearing into a counter sink to lock the mechanism in place. When manually adjusting, it is possible to overcome the spring resistance, therefore allowing adjustment of the worm shaft
  • Posi-lock – uses a bi-hexagonal locking collar that must be depressed to enable manual adjustment of the worm shaft
