As a logistics professional, you will ensure that parts are supplied in the order in which they are required in the production process. This is a logistical operation that requires considerable planning and organisational skills from you and in which a flexible attitude is a primary requirement.
Given that the trucks are only built to order, your logistical expertise is important not only in production, but also in daily distribution to clients. You ensure that truck combinations that have just been manufactured reach your clients throughout the world. In this job, your logistical qualities are tested on a daily basis in order to provide perfect customer service.
In addition, as a logistics specialist you can play an essential role within our PACCAR Parts Europe department. Along with your colleagues in Logistics, you send more than 385,000 parts shipments per year throughout . With just one goal: maximum availability of the customers' trucks. You use DAF's excellent stock planning processes and intelligent IT systems, which are often developed in-house.
