Adaptive Cruise Control –
less driver’s fatigue
With the optional Adaptive Cruise Control system driving the CF75 or CF85 becomes even more relaxed. The driver simply sets a requested cruise speed and distance to the traffic ahead. Adaptive Cruise Control then takes over the required speed adjustments.

Forward Collision Warning –
increased safety
The Forward Collision Warning function is integrated in Adaptive Cruise Control (CF75 / CF85). By means of visual and acoustic warnings the driver is alerted if his intervention is needed to avoid a collision with preceding traffic.

Information display – no language barrier
No less than 32 different languages can be chosen for the information display in the instrument panel. Never a problem when swapping a vehicle between drivers of different nationalities.

AdBlue tank 100 litres – maximum flexibility
A 100-litre AdBlue tank, even in combination with double fuel tanks up to 1,320 litres content, is optional for 4x2 tractor models, to enable the maximum operational flexibility.

CF85: new rear axle ratios to operate the MX engine in its most efficient rpm range
New single rear axle ratios 2.53:1 and 2.80:1 enable even better tuning of the driveline to the specific vehicle use and driving characteristics. One simple guideline is enough to obtain the optimum driveline with a single reduction rear axle for most common applications:

• /80 series tyres, select 2.80:1
• /70 series tyres, select 2.69:1
• /60 series tyres, select 2.53:1

Following this recommendation will result in 1150 to 1300 engine rpm at 80-85 km/h vehicle speed.

A further step ahead in the engine programme for the CF Edition 2009
New developments in the CF engine programme include new pistons for the MX engine (CF85), a modified poly-V belt drive for the PR engine (CF75) and a new output rate for the GR engine (GR220 - 300 hp, CF65). All CF engines comply with the Euro 5 emission legislation, with OBD2 on-board diagnostics system.

New AS Tronic software and adaptive clutch control (CF75 and CF85)
The AS Tronic software was fine-tuned to further enhance the gear shift and drive-off characteristics. Adaptive clutch control at PTO activation results in a much faster PTO engagement without affecting the engine speed.

New optional ZF Intarder
A new and more compact Intarder with stainless steel cooler is optional for the CF75 and CF85 series vehicles. The new Intarder features very short response times and a brake power up to 420 kW for CF75 and up to 500 kW for CF85 vehicles.

Electronic Brake Limitation / Tyre Pressure Indication
Standard for FA CF65 vehicles: Electronics Brake Limitation is simple, accurate and reliable. Tyre Pressure Indication helps maintaining the right tyre pressures and this saves fuel and increases tyre life.

Indirect front-end PTO for generators
Refrigerated transport with an FA CF65 is facilitated by the optional indirect front-end PTO. Mounting parts are provided for easy installation of a 17 or 24 kW generator for the cooling unit.
