DAF Night Lock and DAF Telematics
In addition to the above items the XF105 Safety Demo vehicles also include the DAF Night Lock. This is an easy to operate mechanical ‘dead lock’ for the doors to protect the driver against cab intrusions. Further, the demo trucks also incorporate the DAF Telematics data communication system, which makes message transfer possible between the truck and home base. On the screen in the dashboard, a camera picture can be projected from cameras mounted on either side of the truck for extra safety.
