DAF LF Series Edition 2009
Evolution never stops
Excellent driveability and manoeuvrability, ease of handling and easy cab access and cross cab access are the specific requirements for vehicles used in local and regional transport applications and in municipal services. The DAF LF series offers premium interior quality for the driver and the highest revenue for the operator, due to its high payload and low fuel consumption. And its evolution still continues, as becomes evident from the LF Edition 2009.

New engine power ratings Two new top ratings have been added in the LF engine range: a 4-cylinder engine with 210 hp output (FR152) and a 6-cylinder engine with 300 hp output (GR220). The fuel injection pressure has been increased to 1,800 bar to obtain an even better controlled and complete combustion. All engines comply with the Euro 5 emission legislation, with OBD2 on-board diagnostics system. |
|
Tyre Pressure Indication All LF Edition 2009 4x2 vehicles are standard equipped with indirect Tyre Pressure Indication, based on the detection of wheel speed differences. Low pressure warnings are shown on the instrument panel. A correct tyre pressure saves fuel, increases tyre life and reduces the risk of sudden tyre damage. |

Electronic Brake Limitation An Electronic Brake Limitation system is standard for all LF Edition 2009 4x2 vehicles. In the Electronic Brake Limitation system simplicity, high accuracy and a high reliability are combined in one single unit. |

Front end PTO preparation for cooling units As an option FA LF55 vehicles with 6-cylinder engine can be supplied with an indirect front-end PTO preparation for refrigerated transport. The generator can be easily installed with the mounting parts supplied with this option. |
|
New optional box silencer The box silencer provides space between the chassis members for PTO drives or tanker installations. Tippers benefit from increased ground clearance between the axles. Both the line silencer and the box silencer have new AdBlue injection nozzles and a new SCR catalyst. | |
